The Emergency and Trauma Care Technician (ETC) diploma is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the necessary skills to provide immediate and efficient care in cases of accidents or injuries. Students undergo training in procedures and techniques essential for managing critical, emergency, or traumatic situations. The curriculum covers topics such as first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), emergency medical procedures, wound management, splinting, and patient assessment. ETC diploma holders are trained to work in emergency departments, ambulances, trauma centers, and disaster response teams. They play a vital role in stabilizing patients, administering initial treatment, and facilitating their transfer to advanced medical facilities when necessary. The program emphasizes hands-on training and simulation exercises to prepare students for real-life emergency scenarios.
